Special Deleebery

It seems that everything is "deliverable" here in Buenos Aires. Our laundry can be picked up and dropped off at no extra charge, you can order any kind of food or beverage from a restaurant OR the grocery store, and yesterday I even had my first private yoga session at home. It is MUCH harder when you have someone physically correcting your position. Our bedroom happens to have mirrors along one wall and when you move the bed out of the way, it is the perfect yoga studio (now if that doesn't tempt you, Karen, I don't know what will...).

At Olsen, a Swedish restaurant in Palermo Hollywood

ahhh, the lovely terrace and all my new plants

Though I am generally a very happy and optimistic person, I am even more so here. Every night as I lie in bed, I get incredibly excited for the next day. We are still exploring our neighborhood and discovering new cafes and little shops. Yesterday we went to Chinatown, where we found all of the ingredients I had been cooking with during our last few months in Boston; umeboshi vinegar, mirin, etc. We also got a new box from Tallo Verde, with tons of new fruits and vegetables.

fruits of our labor

Today Don David arrives!!! He is gracing us with his hairy Cuban presence for 3 weeks and will be joining us on our trip down to San Martín for my Dad's exhibition. We're also planning a trip to Chile and hopefully some camping around the lakes in that region.

Miss you all so much!!!

Your apartment is amazing! I'm more than a little jealous about all that produce you are eating, the MN growing season is ridiculously short. Meow to you and Pete!
