We spent Thanksgiving with Peter's family at my sister in law's house in Belmont. She just got married (!), so this was the last family gathering at that house.

My sweet father in law, singing one of his barbershop quartet songs

Rockport

I posted this picture on my other blog, too. I couldn't resist.

Pete and I have a tradition of going to Rockport after Thanksgiving, to see all the shops decorated for Christmas. This year, we took David and introduced him to the little cafe where my grandparents used to go. The same woman still works behind the counter and remembers me as a little girl, going in for their delicious Swedish coffee rolls.

We spent Friday night with some friends from work.
