Now that the holiday season is right around the corner, Peter and I can hardly contain our excitement!
Many people hate it when stores start taking out their big plastic Santas, blaring Christmas music, and draping lights over every and any surface...but we love it! I don't care if it symbolizes commercialism, I am a total sucker for every hint of holiday cheer.
This year, we are looking forward to decorating our third Christmas tree together...caroling with Pete's family, going to Rockport, MA to buy ornaments at the Swedish store, and spending Christmas at the farm in Vermont. This will be Pete's first Christmas up there, so maybe we'll give him the honor of cutting down the tree. We will be playing Christmas songs throughout, of course. In fact, I may or may not be listening to them on pandoraradio right now!
oh and Thanksgiving, too.
