We made a brief trip to visit friends in nyc before Thanksgiving...
After visiting Peter's parents in CT for a few days, we went up to Vermont, where we celebrated Thanksgiving with most of his family and my parents. We made our first turkey in the clay oven!
Following Thanksgiving, we made our yearly trip to Rockport, to have coffee at my grandparents' favorite coffee shop (the woman who works there still remembers them) and start our Christmas shopping.

We cut down a slightly fuller tree this year and decorated it with the straw ornaments from Mexico.
Thanks to my incredible husband, who won 2 nights in a fabulous Boston hotel in a writing contest, we had a lovely and luxurious NYE. I also dyed my hair brown again, as I was quite tired of the blonde.
Cheers to a lovely 2010! I hope that this year is as full of love and adventure as the last...
